Default Gas pipe

Is this a plumbing question?

What's this about new plastic gas pipe?

Any one use it? Does it work? Is it safe? It it approved?

Where do you get it? What is the depth for an outside run?

Mike

According to G2414.14 of the IRC plastic gas pipe is not allowed to be installed inside a structure. Plastic gas pipe must be buried a minimum of 24" deep with a yellow insulated copper tracer wire or other approved conductor installed adjacent to the plastic gas line.

Good luck
