Default Branch Circuits in Junction Box

Hi
Is their a code requirement on the number of separate branch circuits in a single double gang junction box. I'm bringing two SEPARATE independent circuits to a single junction box. They are not connected together.
One 14/3 connects to a smoke alarm and the second 12/2 connects to an outlet. They are on two separate breakers.

Do they need to be in two separate junction boxes or may all the connections be made within a single box. If single box OK do the bare grounds from both circuits get connected together or do they remain separate as well? It's a metal box.

More than one circuit can be contained within a junction box. The only thing that needs to be considered is Box Fill. Have a look at this link for help calculating how many wires are permitted based on box size.

The grounds of different circuits must be connected together and in turn connected to the metal box.
