Amana ALW480DAW Washing Machine

I have an Amana ALW480DAW washing machine. It sounds as if the bearings are shot during the spin cycle. It is also leaking somewhere in the area of the center post. Any suggestions on whick seal to start with? I have not taken the machine apart yet. I dont want to spend $125 on the tub seal if it is a $5 or $10 part. Once i take the agitator apart is there any way to tell what seal is bad?

Tub seal leaks water into the bearing and the bearing gets noisy.

I dont want to spend $125 on the tub seal if it is a $5 or $10 part

Parts alone you may spend close to $125.00!

Once i take the agitator apart is there any way to tell what seal is bad?

Only one tub seal.
