Default Google Chrome

I installed chrome but only get error 10. I have Win 7 64 bit with Avg antivirus and Zone Alarm firewall. Have green check marks in Zone for chrome. Googled problem no help found. Any ideas?

temporarily disable your firewall and try again.. If it works then you have a config issue with your firewall. Make sure you give Chrome full access, opening just 1 port is usually not enough.

I did a google search and returns quite a few hits and appears to be a common problem.

I disabled the firewall and virus protection no change.

Wow. Yours is the first negative review I've seen of Chrome.

What issues do you have with it?

It's probably more me then Google Chrome, I guess age & stubbroness go hand in hand, I got so accustomed to IE, I'm not subect to change, afraid to step out of my comfort zone, my apologizes to Google Fans

How can you say chrome is junk when you are using IE.

that is a very good question.

I use I.E. I also have google earth and chrome. I got no problems.
