The icemaker and dispensor are two seperate systems.

Bad door switch ( switch must sense the door is closed or the whole dispensor is made inoperable ), broken/loose wire for the dispensor ( at the top hinge ), bad board inside the dispensor.

If needed:

Light switch, 3 terminal

Interface disp asm bk

-I'd- check the door switch first.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Yes that is exactly my model number.

How do I know if my door/light switch is broken? If I am not mistakenly remember, before it was broken, when I open the door, the dispenser stop working but the light indicator is on (water, crush or ice cube, either one).

Could you please show me the cable part at the top hinge? how do I know if this thing is broken? what should I do if this one is damage or bad? any replacement for this item?

Please and thank you,
Geninq

Can be ohmed with an ohm meter.

It will have a common terminal, one goes to the light, other goes to the dispensor.

Correct, both ice and water stop if the switch is bad, or if door is not closing on the switch correctly.

Nope, parts breakdowns don't show it.....hinge cover can be removed to expose the wires.

Dispensor board are bad for getting a burnt spot, can remove ( power off ) and inspect.
