Default Kenmore Series 80-Model 110.28822790

My washing machine is having issues with filling the water into the machine. It will pull hot water but not cold. And if it pulls the cold it is basically a trickle. I tried switching the hoses on the back to see if it was something to do with that, after I did that the tub filled quickly with water, but then it would not pull the water necessary for rinse. I had turned the hotwater off at the wall, and was using the warm cycles to get it to pull the actual cold water. What could be the problem?

Very possible/more than likely a sour fill valve.

Universal Water Inlet Valve commonly used on Whirlpool/Kenmore brands direct drive clothes washers

Some repair helps.
