My washing machine is having issues with filling the water into the machine. It will pull hot water but not cold. And if it pulls the cold it is basically a trickle. I tried switching the hoses on the back to see if it was something to do with that, after I did that the tub filled quickly with water, but then it would not pull the water necessary for rinse. I had turned the hotwater off at the wall, and was using the warm cycles to get it to pull the actual cold water. What could be the problem?

Very possible/more than likely a sour fill valve.
