Default Maytag oven uneven heat

My 5 year old oven is not heating properly. It is heating about 25-40 degrees below what it says.it is a model #MER5730AAW. I was wondering if i should replace the heating element? I replaced it a couple years ago so it is not real old. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

If the element(s) are working ( getting red ), they should be fine and don't need to be replaced.

Try adjusting the control temp, it will adjust + or - 35ºF.

An idea how...

...your use&care manual should have some info on this as well.
