Question hot fuel module

Me and a friend were talking about the hot fuel module, that you find on some GM trucks. I think the hot fuel module is supposed to let the fuel system prime longer than it normaly would.

Looking at the wiring diagram, it seems to show the hot fuel module and fuel pump relay to be wired in parallel to each other, so it would appear, as long as the pump relay was working, the hot fuel module could not cause a no start condition. Is that correct? thanks
