Default dead batt making me http://www.selfhelpforums.com/images/smilies/banghead.gif

ok 95 chev C1500 2wd 4.3l 262ci v6 replaced front end it was work truck changed to silverado front end batt is dying when sits for few hours pretty sure its in lighting circut cause i had to rewire it for new head lights but every thing works proporly nothing stays on but im pretty sure its in that circut or harness i should say im good with cars but been five years since i worked on cars as a job and im realy rusty thought it was like ridding a bike but i guess not so any help need to find i beleive dead short in these wires dvom more less asking settings of the dvom and if anybody might have other ideals thanks peace

Pull a few fuses at a time until your current draw stops, then narrow it down further to find the problem circuit. Go through your manual and start with circuits that dont require the key to be on for such as headlights, interior lights, lighter, radio memory, various computer's, ect.
Also have your charging system checked, a failing alternator can kill your battery.

If you have large maxi fuses, start with them as they somtimes protect several circuits (they replaced fusable links).

I can not quite follow what you are saying in your post becaue it is just 1 rambling sentence. Please restate it clearly if you still have questions. We cant help you if we dont know what you are saying! Thanks.
