What is the model # of your condensing unit?

The reason I ask is that many coils can work at differnent tonages. You only need to change out the orafice or the expantion vlave to make it work. Your condensing unit is tonage specific. If it's 3.5 tons, you can't change it. So you condensing unit model # holds the answer.
