I was doing some research on PEX tubing and ran across this supplier website. It looks likea decent company then I saw these "project photos" The first few of the heated sidewalk/drive look ok (other then the supply lines being 6" deep, im sure that looks good in the middle of winter with a partially melted lawn). From there things just get ugly. If you were a supplier, or a manufacturer selling product here, would you want these pics as demonstrations on using your product?

I am from Canada, and I can honestly say that heated driveways are a horrible idea. I have seen systems that have failed, and let me tell you, it's not pretty. These types of driveways typically have half the life, or less, of a regular driveway. Unless you're comitted to heating the concrete 24/7, you'll end up with major failure in the upper layer of the concrete caused by water freezing and thawing. My advise would be to stay away from such systems and use a shovel or snow blower and save your driveway.

Yes!
Nice picture of carpet under the toilet.
I always wanted to carpet my bathroom. Nothing better to soak up the occasiona drip, splash, or oops. Even better to have carpet if the bowl ever overflows.
[Sniffing noise from background.] Ah, the smell of old carpet from the mens room.

Ha Ha!
I once lived in an apartment with carpeted everything! Even carpet in the kitchen! The worst was when a buddy of mine passed out under the toilet and :puke: all over the bathroom carpet....it was awful.:hmpf:

I dont think PEX heated driveways would last very long in North Dakota. As I look out my window right now, we have zero visibility from blowing snow and its 11 below zero windchill. You Southern folks probably never heard of windchill eh? Brrrrr is the best way to describe it.
