I have a HM100 powering a generator. It came as a recoil start, but has the mounting holes for a starter. I purchases a 12V starter for the HM100.
I look in the hole where the starter will go and I see no teeth on the flywheel.
I do not understand how the teeth on the starter will engage the flywheel if there are no teeth.
Did Tecumseh make models of the HM100 which will not accept a starter?
