Thought I would post some photos of the house I just put under contract up here in Maine. I guess this isn't a true brag since I haven't done any work yet. Stay tuned for future brags  . The first order of business is to take down the little picket fence and install a tall post and rail cedar fence with wire mesh inside to contain my dog.
This place is actually a converted barn. Wish I had interior photos, but the wide pine floors on the first floor are awesome. It needs some finish work (mostly window trim, some flooring upstairs) on the inside, but it's otherwise ready to move in. I had plans to find some land and build a new home, but when I found this place I loved it and also the lot. It's small (2 acres) for standards around here but it is a beautiful flat sunny lot with ample space for dogs and gardens. Bonus: it was converted starting in 1996 so the major systems are all new.
