So far undecided?
What criteria are you using to judge between the two?puke_1

I always swore to myself that I would not be like other old timers and be resistant to change. Guilty, I turned my nose up when I first saw pek plumbing on the job. What rinky dink garden hose type work are people doing these days. As years went by I found not one complaint with pek plumbing and had to eat my old dog new trick resistance attitude. I find nothing to discredit pek plumbing either. Seems to work fine with the track record I have found over the years. Even resistant to freeze damage other than the manefolds inside the home if the home is abandoned.
Good Luck

I'm a Professional Plumber and pex is excellent. The only problems I see are workmanship issues such as not properly supported, not straight (spaghetti), and water heater location if using manifold blocks and individual supplys. It's durable and you can install it much faster because of less fittings. It is also great for under floor heating.
