Grill smoke damage

Can anyone tell me how to get smoke stains off of white vinyl siding on my front porch? I have to replace the aluminum soffit on the ceiling. Soapy sponge took most of it off but has dark spots. Any tips would be appreciated.

Have you ever tried those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? Those things got up some serious crud where nothing else would.
