B&S lawnmower engine starts then shuts down

OK... I've cleaned out everything I can think of and replaced the gas. The governor switch appears to be operating properly... wth? :mad:

Have you cleaned out the bowl on the carb and checked the float? Have you pulled the needle valves out and cleand and reset them?

Is the throttle linkage moving freely. THey can bind up easily if dirty.

THe throttle and carb are good. I have no idea what needle valves are or how to clean and reset them. Thanks for the idea.
