I recently purchased a ranch on a concrete slab. It has a two car attached garage. In the back, inside corner of the garage (backs up to kitchen & utility room) I have about a 4-foot square that I have noticed stays moist pretty much all the time. In the utility room, along the outside wall there is evidence of moisture, but I haven't noticed the floor being actually wet like the garage. The water meter is located in the utility room. but I don't know what route the water line takes to get there. I thought there may be a small leak there, but it would have to be pretty small as I have not noticed a difference in the meter when I am not using water. This is the only area that I have noticed any problem with moisture in the house. Any other suggestions on what the source of this might be, how to correct, etc?? Thanks.
P.S. The garage is 22x24, so this area is about 15 ft or more from outside walls.
