I have no soffit vents in the rear of my house upstairs. There is only like a 2-3" eav overhang along the whole rear. This is up roughly 20' from outside.

I believe it is sooo hot and stuffy upstairs because of this. But i am not sure i want to be up that high and install them. Dont they make soffit that run the whole length in one piece?

You think it would be expensive to have a company out to do this or would it be too small of a job?

Yes they do make soffit that will cover up to 16' in length with each piece.
Most siding companies could do that work for you and it shouldn't cost too much.

Many mobile homes have small overhangs, the mobile home company I worked for used a metal band with perforations punched up into the metal to provide the neccessary ventilation. That band then ran the entire length of the home. This process could be done by an eavestrougher I would imagine. The rest of the process was pretty typical of a residential soffit, which included the use of "J" channel at the wall and "F" channel at the under side of the eave.
