This forum deals solely with code questions and situations relating to code considerations. Meaning, sizing of DWV systems (Drain/Waste/Vent) or sizing requirements for water lines. Many questions can be answered in regards to code reference. Moving of vents, distance from trap to vent, sizing minimum for drains, sizing minimum for water lines/water heater, DFU's (drain fixture units), venting questions, support of DWV and water piping systems. Fixture placement/fixture requirements, outside water line and drain line code questions. VTR (vent through roof) requirements, questions regarding building codes when installing/modifying new or existing plumbing systems. Codes are broad across the country and sometimes questions posted here are sometimes better placed in the Plumbing Existing Home forum board.

The Repair forum is ideal for problem situations, pipe connections, troubleshooting problems, clogged drains, leaking pipes/broken pipes, sewer problems/drainage problems and so on.
Remember, short/vague questions get vague answers. Be descriptive in your situation. Take pictures of your problem; a picture is worth a thousand words and better helps in you getting a faster more correct response. You can load images on this site.
