I'm in the market for one of those 1/4" sheet sanders with a catch bag. Does anyone have any recommendations? Looking to spend under $50, but I will spend a little more if the quality is there. A carrying case is a plus!
I was walking around the local Harbor Freight and they had one for around $10 without the bag. It did have a chute for a shop vac hose. No case, though.
Thanks!!bow_1

I just bought my wife one for Valentine's Day !
I ended up getting the Ryobi - has dust bag and comes in plastic case. She really liked my dad's older porter cable, but they have changed the design (cord comes out of the top now) and is not as nice as the old design.
I looked at all the brands I could and liked the Ryobi the best. I think I got it for $29 at HD. (it might have been $35 though) It wasn't the cheapest, and it wasn't the most expensive.
Hey a few years ago I bought her her own chain-saw for Mother's Day (a little Husky) so she would leave my big saw alone (Husqvarna with 26" bar). Now she chews me out if I use "HER" saw.

skipatroller, I went to HD and saw the Ryobi. I really liked it and bought the last one they had on the shelf. I like the fact that it has a hole punch pad for standard sand paper. What a nice add-on.
Thanks for the heads up on the sander!
