Water in fuel.

I've got a 90 horse yamaha, which a while back I left my boat plugs in and we had alot of rain which half filled my boat. some water must have gotten in to my tank. When I went to run my motor it started right up but cut out after about 5 minutes. I would not re start, and then I descovered the fuel filter/water seperator full of water, I dumped the filter and motor filter and refilled with fuel, but no success. I figured I sould get help before I run down my battery of f something else up. Help DMB

If you're sure that's the only problem, then just keep cranking it until it starts. You can try adding water absorber into the fuel, but it shouldn't be necessary if you completely drained it.
The water didn't damage anything (unless it froze?) so it should be good to go.
