View Full Version : How do I remove a flywheel on my Briggs??

I have that older 2 HP Briggs Model 60102, Mfg 1965, on an Edger. I need to remove the flywheel, but it has no nut on the shaft holding the flywheel on. Do I just use a wheel puller and start to pull the flywheel off??
Any help Please...

Just a guess but the flywheel might screw onto the shaft. I doubt it is just pressed on. Might be a left hand thread. Depends on direction of rotation of the engine.
