**Repost** I accidently put this in the wrong forum...
I have a 200 amp service panel in my attached garage and want to install a 220v, 100 amp non-service rated panel in my basement. The garage is already sheet-rocked so I thought surface mounted conduit on the walls and ceiling would be the easiest way to run my 4 wires. At some point I may have a hot-tub wired to the non-service panel.
Questions:
1) Can you verify conductor sizes for me?
two ungrounded conductors (red/black) - 6 gauge
one grounded conductor or Neutral (white) - 10 gauge
one equipment grounding conductor (green) - 8 gauge
2) What conduit material choices do I have and what conduit size is required?
3) Any suggestions or rules I should be aware of on how to mount the conduit? What about running the conduit through the walls? (e.g. [1] from the service rated panel through the sheetrock followed by a 90° bend and then surface mounted onto the sheetrock. [2] throught the sheetrock from the garage and into the basement through their shared wall.)
