Access problems

I have been having trouble accessing the site. It sometimes takes forever to load a thread or I get the error that the page can not be found. It takes several tries to get to a specific thread. If I come back later it works fine.

Just so that I get my chit in too, I have had access problems as well. Yesterday (Saturday) was miserable. Some valid links would bring up errors. Sometimes Explorer told me that the site did not exist. Several minutes later, everything was a-o-k. I must have gotten two dozen errors of various sorts yesterday. Server overload?

Thanks for keeping informed. There was a technololgy software update on the server on Feb 19. This was suppose to give more stability to the server and prevent a problem with another site on the same server to affect another persons sites on the same server. However I think it would be fair say regardless the cpu can only do so much at a time. These servers are likely operating with dual cpu's.

I haven't notice a problem since the update myself, infact the sql database emails have decreased since the update, but that only tells me of sql query errors not any core files accesability problems.

Lets give it 3 or 4 days and see the averages and see if everything irons out, There will always be the occassional server reset, I have never seen a computer yet that hasn't crashed at some point in time. At the same token I would a high degree of reliability on the sites with few problems.

The access has been very good since my last post. It all seems to working fine now.
