i bought this at Lowe's($6.97) a year or so ago and i really like the self lock feature...when you pull the tape out it stays there & you push the button to release/rewind.
markings in inches, feet(1'1"), 16", etc.

I seem to lose or drop and break tape rules on a fairly regular basis. I pay about 3 bucks for the most generic 25' tape rule that I can find. I bought a nice Klein tape rule a couple of years ago, that had a nice strong magnet on the hook that would hold it on ferrous metal instead of hooking it. I think I paid something like 35 bucks for it, and lost it within that same week. I even looked hard for it, and still came up for naught. Since then, I keep a couple of spares in various places on the truck and at the shop.
