I HAVE A FORCED HOT WATER BOILER (OIL) AND IT TRIPS OUT ALL THE TIME I HAVE HAD 3 PEOPLE LOOK AT IT AND ALL HAVE TOLD ME THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS IT TRIPS AGAIN. THE PHOTO CELL WAS REPLACED FILTERS REPLACED EXC.

If a oil burner is tripping out it believes it is not getting ignition or it is overheating.

If your orfice has picked up debris then the spray will not be cimetrical in nature. This will cause incomplete ignition causing some smoking that will cloud the eye and shut down the burner.

If you have a circulation problem with your boiler than not enough water will pass through the furnace allowing that furnace to over heat causing the high limit to kick off due to over heating.
