Underground gas pipe

I am running some underground gas pipe for a pool heater in a ditch greater than 12" deep. The pipe is factory coated for underground burial. But what about any pipe fittings like 90's or couplings etc.; Are there special underground gas pipe fittings or can you use standard above ground fittings that are wrapped with underground pipe wrap?

There are many fittings on the market. Some are approved for underground use some are not. Check the manufacturer's installation instructions or UL listings to find which are approved for use in that condition and which are not.
