I have a problem with getting enough heat to part of my house. I am looking for ways and possible web-sites that I can push more air to the part of the house that is about 40-50 feet away from my furnace. I have a forced air furnace that is located in one part of my house that is 20 x 20 and has a basement, besides heating that area I have a 24 x 30 area 1 1/2 stories that only has a crawl space (this is the area that isn't getting enough heat). I am not fond of going into the crawl space. Is there a fan or different blower I can get to install either in the duct work or in the furnace that will push the air to that side of the house?
Thanks!

Designing heat ducts is a fact of ART and calculations. Improperly designed heat and cold air ducting can cause heat bills to triple and still feel cold.
Increasing air volocity will only cause more are to enter the closer rooms and make them hotter.
Check for cold air ducts in your far away rooms. If you have no cold air ducts to suck out the air in those far away rooms then you are trying to create a pressure in those rooms by the forced air heat entering those far away rooms increasing resistant pressure without the assistance of the cold air ducts working in vacuum to the furnace to aid in air flow.
If you duct system is incorrect then I suggest you assist heat with baseboard heaters in those rooms.
Just my thoughts

I have somewhat of a similiar problem with 1 bedroom not warming up sufficiently, it being the farthest from the furnace and also on the second floor and the furnace in the basement. I cant really add another duct run to the space or increase the size of the existing duct, but I have seen where you can purchase an assist fan which is placed inside the duct work and is wired to run when the furnace fan runs. This should work and I will probably try one. I can remember in my younger days living in an old house with friends where I had a cold room. I would put a fan over the heat register in the room to get more heat in the room. It worked like a charm.

The assiste duct fan you mentioned may work on a single duct room problem as you discribe. If that fails to give you what you need you might consider a baseboard assist heater in that room.
Good Luck
