Recessed lights in suspended ceiling

Code question...Cecil County, Town of North East, Maryland....

When wiring the can lights for my finished basement (suspended ceiling) is flexible metal conduit required for the wiring? I will NOT be using the open space for HVAC intake/output, have piping for that. Thanks!

you can use NMB(romex). rec room would assume no insulation. Otherwise you will need IC rated cans for insulation. You can daisy link your feeds if only 1 switch. Check cans for # of wires in J box, carefull not to overfill. Check opening page of web for helpfull hints to assist you if needed. GL
