I am trying to install a ceiling light/fan into my living room. the layout now is

2 - 3 way switches that control a receptical

switch 1 has black/white/red wires

switch 2 has black to top of switch, black and white to bottom of switch and white/red taped together

receptical has 2 white on one side, red on other side and 2 black taped together

where would i connect my light/fan into this? and I dont understand why there are 3 red ends being used.

More info please.
What do you expect to accomplish?
Do you want the switches to control the fan only? the light only? the fan and the light together? The fan and the light separate? neither you are going to use the pull chains?
Do you still want the receptacle to be switched?

You are going to have to fish some wire to the new fan location. What wires and where you fish to(switch or receptacle) depends on what you want to accomplish.

I realize my question wasnt detailed enough, I appologize. I became very busy at work after I found this site and was in the middle of adding the post when I had to go.
Good news for me is that I put the fixture in last night and it looks great. thanks anyway.
