which one looks good?

I'm currently reroofing my house and I wanted to dress up the old place a little by adding a cupola (or cupolas) and add a gable to the front of the house. I drew a few basic ideas and would like to get a little input on what any of you feel is a good idea or bad. I have a picture that shows the different ideas at:

The size of the cupolas can be changed, I did scale the large one according to the tradional way. The major lines of the house are to scale. The house does sit about two feet higher on a foundation.

What I am seeing is a visual pleasing structure not a code issue supporting structure.

You should be fine as long as you have no maximum height rules in your jurisdiction. What it looks like would be no more than a normal chimney sticking up.
