Hi all,

Hope everyone has a nice Labor Day. Mine is a warm one right now.

My AC seems to be blowing air, but it is warm to slightly cool, (very slightly). I checked the filter last night, it is dirty, and I will replace it, but in the meantime I just took it out for last night and it didn't help. I followed some advice and I turned the circuit breakers off and then back on, and also listened to the unit outside to make sure the fan and that I heard the "hum" and I think I did.

So my question is, is there anything else that I can check and do myself before I have to drop a few hundred on someone coming out (which won't be until tomorrow at the earliest). I will say that I know nothing about AC units, etc so if you have any advice please simplify it for me!

thanks in advance!

I suspect you will need to have a service man come and check your compressor and freon. Good Chance one or both will be the problem.

Let us know how you come out.

Good Luck
