arc welder

i purchased an arc welder that is rated at 230v, single phase 60 hertz input requirement. my trouble is that it came with a 3 prong 110v plug. it will not weld at all without more power.

Do you know for sure that it is a 120V plug? See the web site below and tell us the configuration number.

Most standard plugs (15A) are 5-15P. Does it look like the plug is original to the unit?
