My basement is finished except for molding and carpet. Which should I install first? If I do the molding first, what is the typical height to raise it off the floor? I've heard that it should be raised 1/2 inch to allow the carpet installer to push the carpet under. Or, is it just easier to install the carpet first and then the molding.
just 4 fun
