I rebuilt an old barn behind my house to use as a workshop/garage, I want to use my air compressor, welders etc. I want to put in a 100 amp circuit. My house has a 100 amp main box. The mail box to the sub box is aprox. 125 feet. Two questions, what size wire should I use. and should the wire be run in conduit the whole run? The wire runs underground about 20 feet and then under the house.Any help would be appreciated.
