Telephone wiring termination

I am wiring my parent new house for telephone. I was going to home run all locations to a central point in the basement using cat 5. What should I use to terminate those wires, I have seen punch down blocks but don’t know how they work some and split blocks and again I am not familiar with the terminology or installation of either. I do have access to a punch down tool, and connector crimping tools. Thanks

There are millions of different models of punchdown blocks. Go to the store and see which one you like. They are mostly very similar.
