would you recommend going from galvanized pipe to cpvc ?

A lot of PVC is being installed in home. I am not sure which is CPVC without looking it up. Yet most seem to be installing the manifold soft clear platic lines now in new homes. Might be worth looking into. Freezing is an advantage because this soft clear plastic water line will expand and go back to normal. Bad thing that can be corrected if placed inside the home is the manifold can freeze and break. This manifold fits inside a wall and has shut offs built into the manifold to shut of any line. Special tools are needed to buy to install this type plumbing though.

I am still a copper hard drawn man myself, love sweating those joints to solder.
