I am wiring my basement for recessed light. i bought 3 dimmer switches that will control 3 differnet groups of lights. the dimmers only have 2 wires coming out of them plus a ground. i am going to bring one wire into the boc for power but i fail to see how i bring power to each of the dimmers.do i just split the power via a nut and run it to each dimmer? thanks

Wire nut all white wires together under one wire nut not connecting to the switches at all. Wire nut the bare or green wires together under one wire nut with a pigtail about 12" long. Then daisy chain that long pigtail from one green screw on each device looping around one green screw on one switch the go on to the second switch looping again around the green screw and again going on to the third switch green screw.
Then connect the black wire of each set of lights to one dimmer screw per set of lights. This leaves you with one screw empty per dimmer. Then make three black pigtails of wire about 6" each. Wire nut these three black pigtailed wires to that one black power wire. Connect one black pigtail to each dimmer on its empty screw.
You should have lights.
Let us know how you come out.
Good Luck
