More baseboard questions.

I am installing baseboard heaters, I am running 4 footers(2) in the room, how are the hooked up? Are they supposed to be in series? I am using an external wall thermostat.

You have two choices in wiring design

12/2wGrnd from panel to double pole thermostat 240 volt rated then a 12/2wGrnd from that thermostat to the first heater. Then a 12/2wGrnd from that themostat again to the second heater.


Second choice of wiring is 12/2wGrnd from panel to 240 volt thermotat then a 12/2wGrnd from thermostat to first heater then from same end of that heater a 12/2wGrnd to the second heater.
