I have a meat grinder that is wired up for 110 volts. It appears it can be wired for 220. There is no wiring schematic to go by and I was wondering if I sent a picture to someone on how it looks if they can review it and offer a suggestion? The plate on the grinder says 110/220. Thanks for the reply.

Normally the conversion wiring schematic will be found either on the name plate of the motor or on the inside of the cover plate that closes in the junction and spades. Often times converting from 120 volt to 220 volt it only means moving the white wire to a hot spade inside that junction built into your motor, or to convert from 220 volt to 120 volt again you would move the wire in reverse from the hot post to the neutral post inside the motor.
Look on the motor nameplate or the inside of the cover plate that encloses where the cord enters the motor.
If you find no schematic in either place go to an appliance store that sells used appliances that has one like yours and see if the schematic is on that meat grinder in that store. Often times they will let you draw a hand drawing allowing you to convert your meat grinder. Just make sure you compare to matching meat grinders with matching model and brand names.
Let us know how you come out
