A friend of mine has a 10 X 8 walk in cooler with a cement floor and 1- 3" drain in the center of the floor. The problem is, water stands in the cooler around the walls due to the
floor not being properly prepared before the cooler was installed. My question is can cement be placed on top of the original cement floor to form a proper slope to the center and make the water drain or should the floor be taken up and start over?
