Running water to detached garage?

The frost line is 4' here in Wisconsin. I want to run water to my new detached garage from the well in the house this garage only exists in my head currently. How deep does the waterline have to be buried? Also the foundation, does it have to be frost wall w/ footings or is a slab on grade still possible with water lines runnig up through it?

4 foot and either application can be fine, walls with a poured slab is a better application.



Bring the water line upright into the slab, protected.
