I am located in Alberta Canada. I am developing my basement. I think my windows are too small for egress windows. Does anyone know what the sq footage needs to be? IIRC it is 5 sq ft.

Actually the minimum square feet for an emergency window if 5.7 square feet.

I have no access to Canadian Building Code at this time.
