I'm in the process of finishing my basement and of course the rough in is not anywhere where I need it to be. The current rough in is sewage tank piped to a WC connection, one tub drain, one sink drain, and one A/C drain with 2 vents installed. I'm ready to rip all of that out and my new configuratin is 1 whirlpool tub, 1 shower unit, 2 sinks, 2 WC (this is for a bath and a half). I have a new sewage tank (the main is mid level in the basement and I have the flotec sewage pump to pump it out. My problem is that the 2 toilets are in close proximity to the sewage tank and as it appears I have to either pipe one of them so that it goes to the 4" line leading to the tank making a complete U turn, pipe in parallel to 4" line (both configs are 3") and make left 90 and again left 90 into the 4" line (wide U) or if allowed, put another 4" hole in the tank and put the 2nd toilet into it (straight shot). Can anyone offer advice as to which is best and allowed?
Thanks,
Mark

I take it you are calling tank to be the lift station in the basement floor. If so you may install a second hole into that sewage lift tank.

Hope this helps

Thanks,
The tank is in fact the lift tank that the sewage pump will go in and pump up to the main sewage line to the street. The main level is above grade for the sewage piping but the basement is below and requires the pump. The tank comes with one 4 inch hole so if allowed, I can put in another 4 inch hole to accomodate an easier solution for piping in the 2 toilets.

Thanks again,
Mark

You are allowed. The water / sewage runs through the pipes then falls into the lift tank the rises to a level that the pump then pumps it up to a level it can then gravity drain normally out of the house.

Good Luck
