looking for some general info since I need to install a 1/2 bath. I purchased an old house......one of the first projects is adding a half bath. the place has updated copper so i'm in luck. just curious if someone could outline the order of my work. as i started to plan this i actually wonderd if it would be easier to do all the supply line work in the bathroom first and connect everything in the basement last. i'm modifying a closet/pantry room into this 1/2 bath....so i considered installing the toilet and sink (along with the appropriate supply and drain lines) 1st. initially, i figured i should start in the basement and find the easiest route up to the 1st floor. any thoughts? Also, how do i tap into my sewer for the drain from my toilet and sink.......and i assume there separate drain pipes.
