I am in the process of replaceing my old obsoleate pannel with a new one. I am obtaining the proper permits and contacting the supply company to disconect the meter. My existing pannel is grounded through a grounding rod, not the water pipe, below the slab floor with either 6 or 8 awg copper, I have to measure, ( it is a 100a main service) I am replacing with the same main , 100 a Sq D. The orriginal pannel is 26 yrs old, is this grounding adiquate or has the code changed?
