fuel pump

I have a 1985 Evinrude 115 VRO. The diaphram in the fuel pump part of the VRO has a pinhole in it. I was told you cannot repair these pumps, you have to replace the whole VRO pump. I would like to replace it with a regular fuel pump and just mix the oil and gas myself. The problem is I am not sure which pump to use and any input would be appreciated.

You can replace the pump with Part#438402 but be sure to run your situation by a qualified parts person for evinrude. This pump does not incorporate the oil mixing side of the VRO. So once installed you must mix your own gas and oil.
