I guess I'll dig something up.Here's an easy one for everybody.

This lighting web site (http://www.lightingfacts.com/Alternate%20Index.htm) shows 25 wiring diagrams for switches, lights, and fans. Eleven of the 25 are code violations. Can you spot the eleven?

It's scary enough when DIY'ers do things without understanding what they're doing. But a web site designed by a "veteran lighting expert" should at least have code passing instructions.

I guess you need to be wary of internet information. How does an average Joe determine whether the info on a forum like this is correct or bogus? I see many forums with dangerous advice.

I see many forums with dangerous advice.
Me as well. When I do see erroneous advice I always correct it if I know for sure I am correct (even sometimes if I'm not :p ).
Sometimes this makes one look like a KIA, but I can live with that. I do know that I don't know everything. :p ladyman_1

I only went there for a minute.
I see that he regularly uses the black to feed the switch and the white as the switch leg in many switch loop variations. In one of the 3-ways diagrams he actually used a black as a neutral!!
