just picked up this van at a realy good price. i just started working on it a few days ago. did tune up ect. it runs alot better but now when i give it gas it will hesitate on take off. could this be just a vacum line thats come loose or something? it did not do this before the tune up.

I suspect the engine was running rough enough that you didn't notice the hesitation.

I suspect that if you check you either have a vacuum leak or two being a cause of delay to the computer or you need to advance the timing of your distibuter.

If you adjust timing on an EEC-IV equipped engine, make certain you follow the procedure on the decal under the hood to the letter. If you miss a step, it will be incorrect and things will get worse.
