I have a partially finished basement. I am redoing the finished part of the basement.
On the unfinished part of my basement I had used Drylock with excellent results.
I had planned on using Drylock in the finished part of the basement before rebuilding the walls. When I pulled down the existing walls some parts of the foundation wall were tarred. Some not. Some parts of the tarred walls had blistered off. I would like to use the drylock. Is there any known problem with applying Drylock (latex base)over a tarred wall?
